If you have been here for a while, you may have remembered back in January 2018 I asked if everyone was ready to come on a minimalism journey with me. Only problem was, I wasn't really ready and honestly home construction has thrown a huge wrench in the works. We have found it so difficult to toss things because we didn't know IF we would want/need them when construction was finished. So I am here now, December 3, 2018 (almost a year later) ready to commit to minimalism in my own life. In this video I give you some very small and simple ways to start on your minimalism journey. Hi guys! In this tutorial you will see my exact formula for eliminating or removing unwanted red tones in brunette hair. As mentioned in this video, every canvas is different, so every client requires a unique formula, so results will vary. I personally use L'Oreal professional hair color. Let's just get really really real with this review. I am borderline tired of always having negative reviews on products that some people think are amazing. Everyone is talking about contours but do we even know what they are used for? To contour your nose, or any part of your face or body for that matter- it's all about creating shadows to give an illusion that things look a certain way. Whereas a bad contour, or a contour not done correctly, could actuate the things that you are trying to camouflage. If you think you are ready for contouring here is my little video on it! I received these  Colortrak Professional reusable hair coloring meche sheets  complimentary with a color order, and I thought I'd give them a go! They are really easy to use and stay where you put them. A silly mistake a made the first time I used them (as you can see in the video) is that I folded the top down as I would a traditional foil. This is not a necessary step at all! If you don't like the idea of the sheet hanging in your clients face, you can use a different placement technique or if your client has short hair you can cut them in half. I absolutely love how these lift! Excellent for adding some brightness around the face or throughout the hair. Once they have product on them, they stay in place perfectly. It is also so easy to slide them out when you get the the sink... similar to the ease of removing the plastic after balayage. Another pro is that you will undoubtedly save money if you reuse these. Here is a hair color tutorial on how to create a dimensional blonde with highlights and lowlights on a natural level 5 brunette without having to base break. I received the Kiss Blowout Lashes in Pageboy, complimentary for testing purposes. That in no way changes my opinion or experience using these lashes. To be honest, I didn’t expect them to take the place of my favorite professional lashes. I dragged my feet about trying them because I am so particular about the lashes I use. Review is in on the EVA NYC Clean It Up Shampoo! I received this product complimentary for testing purposes and thought I wouldn’t be impressed or even wowed by it. I dragged my feet about trying it but boy was I mistaken. As I tried it for the first time I thought wow. I loved the scent and how it immediately made my hair feel as I lathered. I have never used another shampoo that made my hair feel as if it was getting cleaned, detangled and softened while I was in the process of washing with it. After I rinsed it out, something I didn’t want to do because I loved the cleaning process so much, my hair felt really dry. As if I had just used a clarifying shampoo. I immediately panicked and proceeded with my usual conditioner. After rinsing out the conditioner, my hair has never felt softer, easier to brush and overall easier to deal with. For me, I give it 5 stars but as a hair dresser and knowing different types of hair, I give it 4 stars. You need to use conditioner with this shampoo.
