Do Blue Shirts Go with Blue Jeans?

Do blue shirts go with blue jeans? Of course! As long as you aren't trying to match a blue denim top with blue denim jeans. That will literally never work, unless you are Jessie from "Saved by the Bell".

If you are looking to wear a non denim blue top with denim jeans, don't try to match the blue top to the denim jeans either. That also won't work. Have you ever seen someone, unintentionally wear a faded black top with sharp black bottoms in an effort to match the blacks? It's all wrong because it looks unintentional. Instead of trying to "match" your blues, try wearing variations of blue that compliment each other. As I mentioned in a previous post, fashion should be on purpose, it shouldn't look unintentional because it is not unintentional. If you want to wear a blue top with blue jeans, you can choose a bright, vibrant blue top with dark blue jeans. It's on purpose and in no way trying to pass as a one piece/jumpsuit or romper. Create that clear distinction between top and bottom to create an outfit. A dark blue top with light blue jeans also works. The variations of blue on blue, denim on denim are endless. But, for the love of 2018, don't try to match a blue denim top with blue denim jeans. It's near impossible to get the exact colors and wash of denim right so it will just leave you looking like you missed the mark.
