A few weeks ago now, I posted to snapchat and instagram my Friday night face mask! A few of you wanted to know what in the world I had on my face, as I looked more like Carol from the Walking Dead when she saved the group from terminus. Ok, ok I got a little carried away on that one. Maybe I looked more like Kermit the frog. Anyway I thought this would be a great opportunity to share my experience with you guys and gals! So I picked it up online at TJMAXX: http://bit.ly/2mSp2Vb It's called the INVITAMIN Matcha Green Tea & Glacial Clay Facial Mask and it was $9.99. It claims to: "detoxifies, exfoliates, softens skin and tightens pores. An effective treatment for pimples, blackheads, acne and rosacea..." Now here's my experience.... First I washed and dried my face. Then I mixed the powdery substance with water as per the instructions (you can use any liquid of your choice) and I applied it to my face with my finger tips. Lets be realistic for a minute. You need to keep up with your hair maintenance because it is SO important! Not sure what I mean? Let me show you... 6 months ago I did this fabulous, fall ready, copper balayage ombre. 6 months later without any maintenance. No monthly glosses to maintain the color or haircuts to keep the hair healthy... we ended up with the picture on the left: Over grown roots, washed out color and split ends. Think about all your hair goes through in half a year! 6 months is a LONG time! She made an appointment because she wanted a chocolate brown color and a trim. After one appointment I got her hair to the picture on the right. ONE appointment, that's it. I can only do my job if you make an appointment. So don't wait too long in between your hair appointments, there is no reason to. Keep up with your hair maintenance! You deserve it and so does your hair! I have a vlog coming out tomorrow about a letter I received from the IRS about my identity being stolen. Thank god for my accountant, he immediately sent me an article about the IRS being hacked with over 700k identities stolen, and he told me it's uncommon but can happen. He called the IRS with me to figure out exactly what was going on. Everything is resolved now but I thought I'd share this post from his blog which is a breakdown of tax scams to look out for... Somethings might be out of your control but having the tools to bounce back is so important.
