Special Event Hair & Makeup

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to do hair and makeup for a women I went to high school with. She wanted her hair and makeup done for a wedding she was attending. Since she wasn't in the wedding party, she was looking to have her hair and makeup done- without drawing too much attention to herself.

What can I say? It's hard to not draw attention to yourself when you look this good! I absolutely love this silly picture and of course it was great to catch up with an old classmate! 10 years sure flies by.

Pink To Purple Ombre Eyeshadow Tutorial Using Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions

I created this light pink to purple ombre eyeshadow look using the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette and the ColorPop Semi Precious Palette. The Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette is the only Huda Beauty product that I own. From the moment I saw it on the Sephora website, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The palette is very different from colors I would normally gravitate towards but I'll tell you, I gravitated right to it! And to date, it hasn't disappointed yet. The pigment is amazing and reliable. The ColorPop Semi Precious Palette is the same situation, the one and only ColorPop product that I own. If you are a freelance makeup artist, like myself, and you don't have the ColorPop Semi Precious Palette.. let me tell you that you NEED it.
