How I Ombre My Hair at Home | DIY

Anyone that knows me, knows that I have one dream that seems unattainable, and that is to be a blonde. I have tried in the past and in hindsight it is borderline terrifying to look at...

Anyone that knows me also knows that I don't believe anything is unattainable for me. After all James Blunt wrote the song "You're beautiful" about me... and "Hey there Delilah" by the Plain White T's was also written about me. Nothing like being self assured... I think it's also referred to willful ignorance... If there's a will there's a way, right?

After my blonde phase, in early 2014 I had my mom literally cut my hair off (think Demi Moore circa "Ghost") And I colored the remaining hair on my head red...

So when the ombre reached it's popularity, my hair was way too short... After extensions, and trying my best not to color my hair (but failing miserably because I love changing my hair color). I tried coconut oil and voluntarily did not wash my hair for DAYSSS (you know just to promote hair growth). My hair has finally reached the point where I would be comfortable with an ombre and brown to blonde looks much better on my mediterranean skin than just blonde...

So after this super long intro, here's a video on how I ombred my hair at home... to skip another long intro start the video at 1:20! ENJOY!
