How to Contour Your Nose | Tutorial

Image
Everyone is talking about contours but do we even know what they are used for? To contour your nose, or any part of your face or body for that matter- it's all about creating shadows to give an illusion that things look a certain way. Whereas a bad contour, or a contour not done correctly, could actuate the things that you are trying to camouflage. If you think you are ready for contouring here is my little video on it! I no longer use these products to contour my nose but the technique is the same! Hope this oldie but goodie helps anyone that has nose issues like I do! Not sure you are ready for this? Here is a video on how to make your nose look less crooked if you are NOT a contour pro! I hope that at least one of these videos have helped! Practice makes perfect! Colortrak Professional Reusable Hair Coloring Meche Sheets Review

Image
I received these  Colortrak Professional reusable hair coloring meche sheets  complimentary with a color order, and I thought I'd give them a go! They are really easy to use and stay where you put them. A silly mistake a made the first time I used them (as you can see in the video) is that I folded the top down as I would a traditional foil. This is not a necessary step at all! If you don't like the idea of the sheet hanging in your clients face, you can use a different placement technique or if your client has short hair you can cut them in half. I absolutely love how these lift! Excellent for adding some brightness around the face or throughout the hair. Once they have product on them, they stay in place perfectly. It is also so easy to slide them out when you get the the sink... similar to the ease of removing the plastic after balayage. Another pro is that you will undoubtedly save money if you reuse these. I also love that you can pretty much see through them to know ...

Super old video but still 10000% accurate. Thought I'd reshare this video because this is still how I roller my hair for fuller, bigger hair! Pink To Purple Ombre Eyeshadow Tutorial Using Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions

Image
I created this light pink to purple ombre eyeshadow look using the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette and the ColorPop Semi Precious Palette. The Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette is the only Huda Beauty product that I own. From the moment I saw it on the Sephora website, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The palette is very different from colors I would normally gravitate towards but I'll tell you, I gravitated right to it! And to date, it hasn't disappointed yet. The pigment is amazing and reliable. The ColorPop Semi Precious Palette is the same situation, the one and only ColorPop product that I own. If you are a freelance makeup artist, like myself, and you don't have the ColorPop Semi Precious Palette.. let me tell you that you NEED it. I rarely create looks without using a color from this palette. I honestly can't remember what I was even using for the past 12 years of makeup artistry before I added this into my collection. Both of these pal...
